McCoy :omg:
Had a wad on the 3.45 race when he fell at the last, and a great price :splapme

McCoy :Helooo .......Had enough on this one to make a profit on him, and looking at the weather, I think if it wasn't for the record the meeting would have been called off.

Was it me or did everyone ignore the fact that timmy Murphy never rode a finish on The Package. It was as obvious as when Tony Dobbin won on his last ever ride. It was like watching a charity race.

The Package wouldn't have won if it'd been flogged to death (obviously!!)

I suppose that was the plan then, for him to hit 3000 in that race, so McCoy 'jumped' off in the previous race

Five grand matched on that previous race at 1.01!

I would have loved it if this had happened the other way around.

I had Miss Sarenne as a system qualifier and The Package as a qualifier under two systems. :(

I have heard people this morning suggest that Timmy Murphy didn't try too hard on The Package.

Any thoughts on this from people who know more about this game than me? (That means everyone!)

I never get involved in odds on runners in-running until they are over the last fence.

I think the word "harder" in your sentence is superfluous.

Good price, as long as you don't mind locking up your cash fro 5+ years....but safer than a bank! :yikes:

Is it that good a price though? Sure, if he stays fit it seems a given, but the risk of injury has to be taken into account too. Could certainly see the benefit of taking it if you could lay it off in a year or two!
