Has anyone read this book titled "The Shack" by William Paul Young. Whether you are religious or not, a church goer or not, this book will make you think. It is entirely fiction and a heart rending story but it will surely make you wonder if the normal conception of God is what most people think. It throws an entirely different slant on the accepted belief. May I say I am not religious at all and don't go to church but this book really influenced my thought on the matter. If anyone else has read it or does so in the future I would like to hear there thoughts about it. It may be that I am taking the thing in too serious a way and would like to know if it had any profound affect on anybody else.

Hello Bill, thanks for sharing the book with us. I'll take a look at it as it definitely sounds like the sort of thing that would interest me. :)

Good shout Bill...
A quick google search tells me that it was self published after being rejected by most publishers.
Now he's on his way (or may already be) to being a millionaire.

Not the sort of book that would normally grab my attention, but reading that article Vegy posted, I think I'll have to get myself a copy as it looks like a very thought provoking read.
