Hello everyone......It's been a few years since I was here so I thought I'd give you an update.....

Glad to see lots of familiar names still around.

As you may recall, back in the good old days when used to chat about the lays as each race progressed, my bank surged from about 200 quid to 15,000 quid. Any way, one evening I was absolutely smashed got home, and played cards on Betfair (where there are the 4 hands). In my night of frenzy I chucked away 10,000 quid. Needless to say, the lays went through a bad patch, and I kept my staking at the level for a 15,000 bank instead of the 5000 and I lost the last 5k. Took me 3 years to build up that bank. I pretty much stopped gambling after that. It was difficult with work, and getting my laptop in, etc...

I took a life time ban from playing the card games, and Casino on Betfair. Quit drinking for a year. Then I recently started again with Keiths packages, using small stakes, but it wasn't doing it for me. Having so many years of experience I decided to start trading, and got a bot to do the trading for me. Now I boot up the laptop in the morning, let it do it's work and then check the balance when I get home. I built up a bank from 200 quid to 500 quid in about 3 months, and decided to chuck in another grand. Over the next 4 months I made 2,700 quid, but the last month has been static, which is a bit of a bugger.

I got divorced late last year, and I have been enjoying myself. Plenty of parties and chicks, but I have lost the art of dating.

Anyway, thought I'd let you guys know that I'm ok. :happyboun

Anyway, thought I'd let you guys know that I'm ok. :happybounThat bit at least is good news Nick - good to see you back on here.

Sounds like you've had your fingers well and truly burned but have learned some lessons and taken some positive action so fair play to you.

How are things outside of that stuff? Still working in casinos down in South Africa?

:Helooo

Only seems like yesterday :thumbs

If you tried my stuff in Feb you'd have struggled with everyone in the betting world, since the 28th Feb it has been difficult to find a losing day!!

I'm getting into trading on non-sport at the moment, always like a new challenge, and testing a bot as well as doing it manually. :)

At least you had it in the first place. :laugh

Good to see you again Nick, glad you're well, back on your feet and that everything's fine and dandy again. :)

You had to say it out loud didn't you???!!! :wink

Nice to hear from you again Nick. Sorry to hear about the divorce mate.

My divorce was very amicable strangely enough. We used the same lawyer, discussed everything before hand and it went very smoothly. She's buying a house (with half my money :ooo) round the corner, so we will share our domestic, and my boy can pop over any time. Met this hot chick last night, but when I told her my age she left rather hurriedly....

My ex and I probably get on better now than ever before, and we speak daily. Should have got divorced years ago. :thumbs

I was going to put "unless it's what you wanted" in brackets but thought that this may have been perceived as insensitive. :)

Enjoy mate!

Nice to hear from you again Nick. Went through a similar phase myself. Built up a bank close to €30,000 two years ago and ended up losing most of it. At the same time, I went through a tough time with the missus so it was all tricky.

Dusted myself down and have been doing OK the past while thankfully. Good to see you back.
