Samuel Eto'o opens the scoring for Barcelona completely against the run of play.

United not at the races at all. Barcelona are class going forward but look dodgy in defence. The game is still there if United can step up the pace

Keep the faith boys.

I've never seen United look so rattled as they did after Etoo scored

I agree but they need to put the goal behind them as it really has knocked the stuffing out of them. Conversely, it has galvanised Barca.

Approaching the beginning of the second half in the same way as they approached the beginning of the first is imperative.

A Lionel Messi header extends Barcelona's lead.

Ronaldo has obviously read too much of the Ronaldo v Messi stuff in the press this week. From the outset he's been out for himself, trying to prove that hes the best player in the world rather than his team are better

as gutting as that was to watch, you have to say well done to Barcelona. Apart from first 10 mins, they outplayed Utd tonight. Might have been different if one of Utds early chances had gone in...who knows. I'm off to watch anything but football and news for a few days now.

I really hate to say this boys but your second half performance reminded me of Newcastle's on Sunday.

I'm disapointed after that more that United failed to turn up than losing the game. We had no leaders, a lot of mistakes and a lot of nerves:ermmm. Its games like this that a team needs a leader- roy keane, steven gerrard - a player to up the pace. I'm not as upset as i thought i'd be thanks to the premiership so here's to next season. Onwards and upwards, march in faith:)

Barca were good tonight, no doubting that, but Man Utd gave the ball away too easily and didn't seem to recover from that early shock goal. Vidic was nowhere to be seen for most of that game, which really isn't like him. And as Yerots says, Ronaldo was trying to do it all himself and win the plaudits rather than play as part of a team.

I see Ronaldo is now saying United's tactics last night were "not good". I doubt the manager's tactics involved one player trying to do everything himself though

Was a pretty dire game!

I know Barcelona played with a lot of skill, but weren't made to do anything special due to Man U's complete non-performance!

I don't think the ITV commentatotrs gave Eto the credit he deserved for the goal!

But it was not the end of season spectacular I hoped for. Lets hope that the FA Cup doesn't prove to be a similar affair! However I have a feeling it will!

I enjoyed the first half, but the second half was a bit of a non event really. I thought Iniesta was the best player by a mile last night. Had Man Utd scored early on then maybe it would have all been different but they were barely in it really after Barcelona took the lead against the run of play.

Chelsea v Everton doesn't exactly have the makings of an edge of the seat final but you never know, sometimes the least expected games to entertain turn out to be the best. Hope Everton win it anyway.
