Once you have extracted a Win Zip File, can you delete it?
Will deleting it effect the extracted files?
I have WinZipfile that is taking up 500 megabytes!

Extracting from a zip copies and decompresses the files so there is no need to keep the zip file if you have extracted all you need from it.

The original Zip files make for good backups (in case you need to restore them later). If you have plenty of room on your hard drive, make a folder and put them all in there. If you are struggling for space on your drives, consider spending a few quid on an external drive - you can get a 500GB jobby for around £45 (http://store.cbccomputers.com/products.asp?partno=HD-CE500U2).
