I had an order in on Lady Hillingdon that I had tweaked down to 3.6 to stand a better chance of getting matched but in getting irate at the poker (see the upcoming dairy entry) I missed making sure it was matched - it wasn't :( I would have had a reasonable stake on that one too. My own mistake though

I have no idea what Mr Jockey was doing on Deauville Flyer, as soon as he kicked on over 3 fulrongs out I knew he was probaby beaten, you don't do that at York :(

Was well up after Lady Hillingdon romped home but a lot of losing backs and winning lays reduced that considerably.

Could have been a lot different if Careys Road had turned up in the 5.30. :(
