Today has been a grade A, first class disaster! Ashalanda getting home by a short head has really done for me after the backs have blanked out and Darley Sun won

My overlay has been crazy recently (over 13% for this month so far). I keep getting caught by late steamers

I sat down today with such a positive attitude after yesterday too. I told myself that it may not be a great day but I should win back some of what I lost yesterday, not lose another few hundred quid

The flat backs are absolutely woeful at the moment.

In the 8.50 at Wolves, my system backs were the only two on the card that started in single figures and they still lost. :(

Today is up there with my worst ever days :(

2 from 17 on the backs leaves me down 7.14pts which doesn't sound that much but the big winner of the day was a 7/1 on quite a small bank and 8 of the losers came on one of my biggest banks so it was a serious blow in cash terms.

It was 10 from 40 on the lays and a 75% SR is never going to make for a good day. So it proved, with a loss of 20.35pts. My own False Favs took a hammering I must admit
