Just wondering what is the best way to make a video of what is happening on your screen?
Does windows come with a programme for this or is there any free software out there.
It's basically for trading - I want to film some trading sessions as I'm helping someone to learn.
Once filmed, I'd like to edit it with a voice over and pause to explain what I'm doing at the important bits etc.

The only one I used to know about was Lotus Screencam, but I think that was discontinued a while back - you might still be able to grab a copy somewhere but whether it'll work with newer OS's I can't be sure.

This will make you laugh , unbeknownst to me my Mrs bought me a brand new dell quadcore laptop for my bday . I turned it on early the other morning to watch cotto pacquiao fight and thought i'd record the fight with some screen capture software.
Being a new comp i thought it might have some built in screen capture software and thought i had located it, i clicked on it and 2 seconds later i had amuscle bound member of alqueeda (dodgey spelling) i didn't realise that laptops now have webcams built in ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha would be funny if it wasn't true
