For me, this horse deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. I shouldn't be the one posting his name though, that should go to matthewluck (http://win2win.co.uk/forum/member.php?u=67), an ex-forum member who introduced me to this legend of a horse by way of giving me tips when to and when not to back him. Matthew was correct on most of the occasions Mr Jag ran, I seem to remember.
The Tim Easterby-trained Fayr Jag won 11 races in a career that included two Group 3 wins and a career highlight Group 1 success in the 2004 Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The site also reports how his career unfortunately ended through a tragic shoulder injury. Very sad news, but the horse was a legend nevertheless.
