I've never really understood why managers don't watch games from the stands anyway. It surely much easier to see whats going on from an elevated position and can't be that hard to get instructions to the bench.

Me neither Laf. Especially as most dugouts are at pitch level so how they can get a good view of what's going on tactically I don't know. You would think that particularly in the first half at the very least they would sit in the stands. Then again they can't chip away at the fourth official if they are there
