I'm not a prolific blogger by any stretch of the imagination but sometimes it is just a cathartic exercise to do a bit of typing.

Anyway, I have not really been that active on this or any other forum for a while. It's fair to say that the past 4 months of my life have been pretty horrific.

Cheltenham Highlights (non winners)

Straw Bear - not sure where the old hurdling master finished in his race but in the previous races he had run over fences he had been appalling. At Cheltenham he stepped up to the plate and looked like a jumper. I look forward to seeing how far he can go over fences next season.

Denman - for a horse that has had such problems his run in the Gold Cup was nothing short of brilliant and for those of us who kept the faith and couldn't resist 7/1 each way it was fantastic.

Normally at this time of the day (10:40) I am playing poker but today I am bored. There is so little decent action that I thught I would write up a bit of stuff on here instead of getting frustrated on Full Tilt.
