Trial System - THE HOT ONE!

This is only a trial, i repeat... this is only a trial. Im not betting on any of these yet, but thought i would post the results on here (just to make vegy feel better when all my selections lose)!

There are still a couple of more filters i am looking at placing into the system, but we eill just see how the current ones go. Not sure if it will throw in many selections. Here goes....

I will be honest, i dont know how to work out how many 'points' profit or loss i would be in. So i will just keep record of the number of winners/bets and the price it won.

Just treat it like you have had a quid on each horse and then your points total is the numeric value of your profit. So +1.25 points today. If you get a loser on the next you will have a profit of -1 point for that bet making a running total of +0.25 points and so on

6 bets is way too small a sample to make rash decisions about. You may want to think about keeping this system going in a spreadsheet somewhere for future reference....even if it does pants, you'll have the rules to reflect on.

Mark, would just like to thank you for this advice. The system was about 10 points down and then on 28/10/05 it threw up a 11/1 winner and a 33/1 winner! Which now puts the system in profit.

Andy i trialled a system last year and it had osing runs if i remember of 12-15 but ended up 50+ points in profit due to some big priced winners. Dont just a system on less than a 100 bets minimum, as you see elsewhere on the forum. SDtick with it, especially if you havent got money on, as Mark syas record the bets and look to filter them after you have accumulated plenty of stats.

After some excellent advice from Mark and more recently johnny, i stuck with this system recording all the results. I have only had 40 selections so far with this trial (i know this is not enough) so please dont plough loads of money into the tips if you decide to follow them. As i will start to post the selections again.

Be warned that this system is still being trialled and can produce long losing runs but it will eventually throw in some big priced winners. Here are the stats i have collated since 15/09/05 (they include the selections from my previous posts.....

SELECTIONS = 40
WINS = 10
LOSS = 30
SR = 25%
WINNING ODDS = 5/4, 2/1, 8/11, 11/4, 11/1, 33/1, 3/1, 11/1, 7/4, 9/2
LONGEST WINNING SEQUENCE = 3
LONGEST LOSING SEQUENCE = 9
COMPLETE SEQUENCE (W=win, L=loss) = W,L,L,L,L,L,L,L,W,W,L,L,L,L,L,L,L,L,L,W,W,W,L,L,L,L,W,L,W,L,L,L,L,L,L,W,L,L,W,L
POINTS = + 40.97


I will post the selections from now on in this thread at approx 1:00pm - 1:30pm.
