Thanks Keith this will come in handy when i go back to college. In the last month of college they decided to put a block out on any webpage that contained the words gambling or poker, which was a total joke. So this blocked out most sports sites, what do they expect us to do during lectures listen to the lecturers or something?

They can also block these proxy sites, but most forget, or don't know how, unless they use backward software in that it blocks everything, and they then release things as they go, rather than adding.

What college are you in Elbarto? I'm in UCD but have had no problems to date..

Maybe some one can knock up a Java script that shows the site inside an applet.....I can then knock up a simple website on the subject of IT, the firewalls can't check the Javascript :)

I'm ploughing through VB.Net at the moment though, and doing very nicely, but Javascript isn't on my list....anyone here....or another idea? A Flash control to show the site.....at least the main screen......??? Glos....John....:D

Me personally, can't do it, but know people who can, so will get in touch and ask. Are you just wanting to show a whole website through a Java applet or Flash control, or whatever will work?

Just the main W2W page as a viewer would help in an applet, I can then bang it in a domain that has bugger to do with gambling........I guess viewing the forum would be harder, I know you wouldn't be able to post.

My company blocks all the gambling sites. I have set up logmein.com on my home machine. I just connect to that and log into bf :-) Let's face it, I am only at work to make my monthly spending money all the bills are paid by the punters on betfair......oh....wait a minute......
