I might be able to get in touch with Mat later Fade!
Although whether he'll quite want to be disturbed by me while on holiday is another matter!

Fadetoblack/Mathare,
I'm going to need your choice of 8 Thunderballs & which option to go for, A, B, C or D by midnight Friday please.
This will give me the time to buy & post the Thunderball tickets in readiness for Saturday evening's draw, (should you choose option B, that is).
Cheers
Ada.

Option C looks the 'easy' one - a 50-50 split which (as long as the 'absolutley nothing' scenario doesn't happen) will at least guarantee a small return with potential for a very nice win.

Mat says he thought you were going to do that bit for him as well!!
He says can he have numbers
1 2 3 6 8 9 10 11
And option C, with £20 in cash and the rest as Thunderball tickets!
:)

Well I was....I was just looking for his opinion.....
Ok so...
-
13th October 2006 #88

Just so we can see who would have been more successful!
(And be honest, don't just include all the numbers Mat didn't pick :D )

Mathare,
Of the £44 eSafe contents...at your request....
£20 has been kept back.
£24 has been exchanged for 24 Thunderball tickets.
Here are the 24 Lucky Dip tickets/lines I have bought at your request for Saturday's Thunderball (14th October) draw.
I have put them in Thunderball order.
13 16 17 28 34 01
07 17 20 25 33 03 ***
08 17 19 26 34 03
12 17 25 27 29 03
01 06 18 25 29 04
09 19 26 27 33 04
02 03 15 21 32 05
07 12 15 17 29 05
11 16 24 30 34 05
22 24 30 33 34 05
08 18 21 27 32 06
05 12 17 20 32 07
04 11 15 21 31 10
09 10 16 28 34 10
01 02 03 18 19 11
05 14 17 21 25 11
06 17 18 21 29 12
07 08 12 14 24 12
07 13 21 22 32 12
08 11 15 19 24 12
03 10 17 26 32 13
10 12 19 21 24 13
02 07 11 15 32 14
09 10 23 27 32 14
So...depending on which Thunderball is drawn will determine how much your final prize amount will be...
1 2 3 6 8 9 10 11 - You will win 100% of the value of the winning lines above AND the £20 you held back.
5 12 14 - You will win 50% of the value of the winning lines above AND £10 out of the money you held back.
4 7 13 - You lose everything and win nothing.
For your information:
Running the above numbers through the last 5 Thunderball draws, they would have won:
27/09/06: £10
30/09/06: £20
04/10/06: £5
07/10/06: £15
11/10/06: £30
But how much will they win on Saturday 14th October?
Wishing you the best of luck Mat...
Ada.

SATURDAY 14th OCTOBER THUNDERBALL RESULT
1 7 15 20 25 TB=9
So, Mathare...
As Thunderball 9 was drawn you win 100% of whatever the winning lines of the 24 tickets are worth + the £20 you held back.
But how much are they worth?
There is just 1 winning line:
07 17 20 25 33 03: £10
You have therefore won: £10 + the £20 you held back, giving a total prize amount of £30.
Mat, when you return from your hols...
PM, Email me at the address below or post here so that we can arrange a way of getting the prize money to you, or any other decision you may have made.

Well done to your good self Ada on another intricately run game.
Very enjoyable if not annoying when I had the answer from a good 2 or 3 weeks before it was solved
And well done to Mat and Fade on getting the final answer! :)
