    Had to try all combonations on the keypad :( but got through in time on the second go. Mastermind followed by what I thought was going to be a magic square but could not be bothered with trying to work out the arithmatic followed by two tests in binary arithmatic

    The keyboard is relatively easy - it is a magic square. The switches are binary but the wire is ridiculously easy once you've spotted it.

    Yes the number is the product of the multiplications, but unless you know the hex codes 000000 or 0000FF, you still wouldn't know which wire to cut. IMO :D
