How Can I Disable Clear Type?

If anyone can help with this I'd be very grateful :)

The most recent windows update installed a new version of Explorer.

I automatically installed with "Clear Type", which is anything but - it leaves a kind of shadow around the type with means for me it's nowhere near as sharp as it used to be. I've put up with it for a few weeks now but I dont like it

On my 2nd m/c I ticked the box to not use clear type when the update was installed - that m/c is fine and I much prefer the type appearance.

I've looked and looked and can't find a way of reverting to "non" clear type, can anyone help?

1. Open IE7
2. Open Tool Menu
3. Click Internet Options
4. Click Advanced Tabs
5. Under Multimedia, clear the Use ClearType checkbox
6. Click OK X 2
