Ada's New Steal & Reveal eSafe Lotto Game

    Hi all,

I have devised a new eSafe themed game which hopefully may sustain interest levels throughout the game rather than just towards the end.......

    The idea....

7 players are required who are willing to be contacted by PM (members) or Email (non-members).
These 7 players will compete in the game from beginning to end. Your place is safe throughout the game & there are no questions to answer.
For prize purposes, a Deal/No Deal game will be played with the eventual winner.

The aim of the game is as before, to crack my eSafe combination which consists of 7 numbers & 1 letter.

The 7 players will be trying to achieve this simultaneously, playing against each other, the winner being the first person to post the correct combination.

Each player will be allocated 7 of the 49 numbers used in the UK Lotto draw games on Wednesdays & Saturdays.

Each player that 'owns' one or more of the 6 main balls drawn in the UK Lotto draw earns the chance to post 1 combination guess for each ball they own.

These 6 guesses will be displayed for all to see....BUT....each player will only be informed (by PM or Email) of how correct (or otherwise) their own guesses are. They will be able to see the other players' guesses but will NOT know how right or wrong those guesses are.

    THE TWIST.....
The person who 'owns' the Bonus Ball drawn gets a choice......a) post a combination guess as per the others who have had a Main Ball drawn.......OR.....b) either STEAL another player's combination guess or REVEAL another player's combination guess for all to see (the intention being to hamper their opponents progress & hopefully improve their own).
If you STEAL then you will be informed of that combination's status, while the person who posted it is told nothing.

I expect most people would choose to steal rather than reveal, so once the game is up & running I will be revealing one combination after each draw has taken place.

Other rules apply, but I will make those clear if there is sufficient interest.

    So.....if you fancy a go.....let me know.

    Ada.

Not sure I follow all that, but never mind, hopefully it'll all become clear as it progresses !

I'll be away this Wednesday, back on Thursday evening, so if that's ok and will give me time to post any guesses before the deadline, then count me in please :)

I had a feeling I'd made it sound too complicated

It really is fairly straightforward to follow.....honest.
All will become clear if it ever gets off the ground.

I need to gauge potential interest first of all, so the start (if it happens at all) probably won't be at least until the current TBall Deal/No Deal game is finished.

I get it. The thing I love about your games is the twists and turns along the way. That's what keeps them interesting. That and the chance to win free money, obv. :)

This one has a great evil side to it too :D

I am certainly up for this

    Sparky,

After a Saturday draw, as long as you can post by, say, sometime Monday evening.... & midnight Friday if it's a Wednesday draw, hopefully no problems.

If you are the Bonus Ball owner on a particular draw, then you will need to be the last player to post as you will want to be able to choose from the other players' posts which combination you want to STEAL (if you so choose) or REVEAL.

I'm making it sound complicated again aren't I.......

Being as flexible as possible may be the key to this game's success (& that includes me).......so....
If we can all work together on this to accommodate our friends who work shifts, then I'm sure the game will actually work out to be at least mildly entertaining for all concerned.......here's hoping.

Ada, can I give my place to Vegy? In fairness he gives a lot of support to your games and i've been in the final of the last two so I think I can cope with sitting one out.*

    Fade,

By all means, if Vegy is happy to accept your kind gesture, then that's fine by me.

    Let's wait for Vegy's response.

I will use the PM facility where possible to inform each of you of your combination guesses throughout the game, unless you specify otherwise.

    HOWEVER.........

    Iron Chris,

As you don't have the PM (Private Messaging) facility, I will require an Email address that I can use to contact you throughout the game please.
Please Email me at the address below.

**The above applies to anyone else who would prefer to be contacted by Email rather than PM.**

I really wouldn't dream of raining on someone else's parade.

Just because you have done well thus far, doesn't mean you should forfit your place in the game

I am hapy to keep watching from afar in this one! :)

I've already mentally opted myself out.

    Think of it like this...

"Anyone want this last slice of pizza?"

    "No thanks."

    "I don't want it...I'm full."

    "Ah no..."

"Ok...it's only gonna go in the bin..."

    "Oh well...."

I'm never one to refuse a slice of Pizza.

But would have to physically see you about to chuck it in said bin before I realised how serious you were.
