    Coffee and TV

I'm thinking of buying a new TV, to replace my 15" CRT-style 12 year old one that's sat to my left.

I've decided on getting one around 26".

Now, here's the technical part. My current TV sits next to the TV port on the wall, so I bought a small cable (think it was an RF cable) to connect my TV to the wall.

My new TV is going to be away from the TV port, so what happens? Do I have to have a wire trailling around the skirting boards, or is there some kind of wireless device I can buy?

Do all TVs have the same kind of jacks in the back of them?

    Thanks!

As far as I know you just need a coaxial aerial extension cable. They are about a fiver for a 4m cable from Argos. All TVs have the same coax aerial input socket though so you don't need to worry about that.

Here's the 4m cable and they do a 10m cable for a quid more. They seem to do some indoor aerial thingies too but you have an outdoor aerial I presume (based on the fact you mention the existing TV port/aerial socket) so no worries on that front. I'm not aware of any wireless jobbies though.

Cheers darling, I bought a cheap standard cable I need off eBay. I'll get the extension cable when I have my beast TV in place. :)
