Shouldn't I have crossed off number three today Ada...

EDIT : That will teach me for looking in here first!!

    OK Chris.....fair comment.

That's what I said in the rules, so I shall stick to my word, I'll cross number 3 off your card.

I'm going to go & edit that comment now though to make it clear.....:D

Thanks Ada, would have gone with whatever you decided but just happened to see that after I had posted...

    Ada's birthday bonus points giveaway....

As it's my birthday today, & I'm in an unusually good mood, I have credited everybody's (including you Sparky) Bank with an extra 5pts.....so use them wisely!!

Your profit/loss is now calculated on a starting Bank of 35 points.

    Good luck.

    Ada.

    Thanks for the bonus, Ada.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time. Like tears in rain. Time to die.

    FAO Bigmazey.....

Unfortunately, you're dangerously close to leaving the game if you don't pick a winner next time....so regard your bank balance & stake/bet as 1pt, not the 0.17pts you actually have left.
Your returns (hopefully loads) will be based on a 1pt stake/bet.

    Good luck

By 'spot prizes' I mean you will be offered double odds for crossing off 4 corners & 2 selections for the price of 1 bet for crossing off a middle line in a future race of your choice.

Thanks for setting it up Ada. I did enjoy it but i need to brush up on my studying techniques. Maybe I'll just copy Mathare's selections next time.

Good Luck to everyone who is still in especially those just hanging in there by the skin of their teeth.

    At least i wasn't first out:D.

    FAO Vegyjones & Piggy.....

Vegy, you're dangerously close to leaving the game (again) if you don't pick a winner next time....so regard your bank balance & stake/bet as 1pt, not the 0.89pts you actually have left.
Your returns (hopefully loads) will be based on a 1pt stake/bet.

Piggy, likewise, you're in a precarious position.....
If you choose an EW bet next time, your returns will be based on a 1pt EW stake, ie rounding up your actual 1.38pts to 2pts for the purpose of this type of bet.
Otherwise, you are restricted to a 1pt WIN or PLACE.

    Good luck to you both

Ah well. I missed today's as I forgot last night and didn't get back from work at lunchtime in time to post. I woudn't have chosen any of the placers anyway.

It was good while it lasted. Thanks Ada.

    OK guys & gals....listen up.

    RULE CHANGE

If nobody has completed a full house on one of their bingo cards after the selected race on FRIDAY 14th DECEMBER, the game will end & the following rules will apply to determine who goes on to play the Deal/No Deal game to win somewhere between £0 & £100........

    i) the player with the highest points total **
ii) the player with the most wins (most bingo numbers crossed off all 3 cards)**
AND.....as it's coming up to Christmas.....
ANY other player who has a HIGHER points total than player (ii) above.....

.....will each be given 10pts to stake however they wish on races on SATURDAY 15th DECEMBER.
You must stake ALL of the 10pts by (for example):
1 x 10pt WIN or PLACE bet on any horse in any race.
    5 x 1pt WIN & 5 x 1pt PLACE bets on any 10 horses in any 10 races
5 x 1pt EW bets on any 5 horses in any 5 races
    etc
    etc.....get the idea?

ie.. ANY combination of bets you choose totalling 10pts. (Only 1 horse per race may be selected.....no dutching allowed).

The person who ends up with the HIGHEST points total after racing will go on to play the Deal/No Deal game to hopefully pocket some Christmas cash (or Amazon vouchers).

    Good Luck

** The player with the highest points total MAY end up being the same person with the most bingo numbers crossed off. If this is the case then this player alone will play the Deal/No Deal game & the knockout phase will not be necessary.
