    Champion Hurdle

I know its a long way off but binocular odds are the best you will get as they stand, at the minute you can still get 11/8 or 1.64 Betfair

owned by a twice winning owner and a three time trainer cant see him losing it so best bet early while the odds are good

I gave up ante-post betting a few years ago, but if he wins his next race, he'll be evens or less for the CH, unless something else springs out of the woodwork.

Given that no other horse is below 10/1 surely the value in the race is finding either an each way bet or a horse to place. It's a competetive race and there are probably 10 horses which can fill the places so the odds for a place will be quite good.

For me there is no value in Binocular. I think he will win but then I thought he would win the Supreme Novices last year and he managed to throw it away to a horse nowhere near as good as the majority of the horses in this race.

If I was betting ante-post I would back him now and lay him before the race as I am certain the price will contract.

But, I don't bet ante-post as I hate my money being tied up.

Not that much value at a 5th the odds this far from the race.

I didn't mean an ante post bet Each Way, but having said that, a fifth the odds for any horse to place is still better than Binocular's odds to win.

50 to win at 11/8 will bring me returns of 118.75 so a profit of 68.75 i thought this lark was about making a profit, ok odds might be short but 68.75 is better in my pocket than theirs
