I am in South Africa on holiday, and I am trying to back my selections on betfair. I can back a horse but it does not register. Says "YOU HAVE NO BETS ON THIS MARKET" Anyone experiencing the same problem?

I get that now & again, annoying. It usually fixes itself, but sometimes hangs around all day! Try another browser like Google Chrome or Firefox (you should always have more than 1 installed)

Incidentally, Firefox is now the Racing Post's preferred browser according to the email I recieved from their customer services team last week. This has nothing to do with Betfair and the problems you are seeing but I mention it to highlight changing attitudes towards IE, which used to be the preferred browser for just about everything
