In the end it was nowhere near as bad as the past few days, which is one thing I guess. A losing day still but only a slight one all things told. However, I was far from my best today, certainly during the afternoon. I missed a few bets due to oversights and got some poor prices but picked things up a bit for the evening session. Today was nothing to shout about but compared to the past week and a bit it's perhaps the settling down day I needed ahead of a big weekend. I have some chunky bets down on the football already with some big matches coming up. No doubt the racing will throw up a few surprises too.
