why is this a good forum

While answering one of my other threads Gods spot gave me the idea for this one
I have only been a member for just over a month but it has already become my fav racing forum.
If you post a question or problem you get fast and helpful replies.
The vast majority of members are polite and constructive even when they do not agree with your post.
Anyone who looks at some of the other forums will no this is not always the case.
So thanks for putting up with me , and i look forward to sharing more with you in 2010.

The key is the members and mods are in the main are all really nice people and you are right mick this is the best racing forum. I don't even bother with racing anymore but i still stay active on the forum i guess that is the acid test of a forum when you come for the people rather than the subject matter.

I don't know anything about racing really - I barely know one end of a horse from the other - but I am on here pretty much all day, most days.

If you're looking for a job Mat there's probably one going for a managerial position at Blundell Park soon. Given it much thought? :D

How much would we need to rustle together to make a management buyout at Grimsby? :D

For £4.50 we could probably buy out Pompey and Grimsby and start a new team called Pomsby, or maybe Grimpey. :D

The starting 11 could end up with more grimsby players than pompey players the way things are going:D

Have your players been paid yet for December Matt? Was supposed to be yesterday wasn't it?

They are supposedly hopeful of it being today. They have taken out a loan to pay them - how ridiculous is that? Although after saturdays performance I wouldn't have paid them at all!

why is this a good forum

I recently read a post on another racing forum the guy referred to a third site which he said that he surfted but was actually frightened to contribute to because of the prevalence of rudeness and sarcasm

I read some of this fellows other posts and it was clear he was knowledgeable and had plenty of interest to offer and i thought what a waste.

What i have found on this site is that even if people disagree with your post they reply in a constructive or humorous way. This is to the credit of all members, and will ensure that we continue to get plenty of informative thought provoking and/or entertaining threads and posts. Well done

Whatever I said Mich, I take it back, I'm not so sure that it is, in fact, I'd stake my reputation on it.

What are you babbling on about?

    This thread wasn't your idea?
    This isn't a good forum?
    Something else?
