Ha ha ha ha ha I loved his post asking what a sensible betting bank would be for someone on the dole with a necessity for 4 bacardi breezers a week and a hobby of line dancing or something along those lines. The fact it was seemingly real made it all the more hilarious.

Yep! You missed out Ladbrokes Balls as well; I think he also wanted to incorporate those into his financial routines. So many people tried to help Kered, especially Campbell and myself, but he was so concrete about betting in terms of week-by-week and anything winnings greater than a pound was like winning the lottery for him.
Anyway, Quito was a brilliant horse, I remember him doing me proud on a number of occasions, but frustratingly enough I also missed out too often when he did do well at a big price, to make it profitable. A great horse, a true legend and I think he was a real specialist at 7 furlongs.

I had many good wins on Quito his stable is just down the road (2 mins away) and i remember being told he was acertainty to win at york once and turn over polar bear the red hot fav which he did at 8/1 but i seem to remember at teh time he was a pro loser and afalse fav that day DOH lol
