Rest assured Mathare, it wasn't as close as you think - your every move was being scrupulously monitored, if I thought your choice had had a chance I would have just copied it, therefore maintaining the lead, so you never really stood a chance! :D

Meanwhile I was copying the outside selections of anyone else who was in with a chance of catching me & the only day I didn't have all the angles covered was the last of the month when the meeting was abandoned... so it was more luck than judgement in the end but it was as interesting as playing chess for a time...

but would you believe, I dreamed I won this? Yes, yes

I had a dream - around halfway through the month

there was a load of us in this sort of horsey people contest

it was like a church, we were all sat on pews holding on to our individual horses waiting for the judges to decide

but mine, nice little filly she was, she kept licking my face and I kept having to hold her back while I was saying, 'it's alright, we've won, we've won!'

I've dreamt correct score football results & winning horses before but as there was no names mentioned I can only assume that dream pertained to this little competition, could be wrong ? ?

Doesn't look like there'll be a repeat this month while Jonah J & Iron Chris have had such a good start, oh well.
