I thought about including Everton bearing in mind your phenominal run of late, but I think with the other three having games in hand as of Sunday morning, I left you out Although if that situation looks like changing, I can easily add your Toffee's Jonah :D

The season begins in August, not January. :D

    Now, now, Scoob!

We did have twelve first team players unavailable when we went to Benfica in October and, give or take a player or two, it was like that between August and February. The backbone of previous seasons - Jagielka, Arteta and Yakubu were all absent for the first two-thirds of this season.

The only players missing as things stand now are Arteta, Fellaini and Anichebe with Vaughan on loan at Leicester and Coleman on loan at Blackpool. The miss against Spurs aside, I liked Landon Donovan and was disappointed to see hime return to LA Galaxy. I mean, can Los Angeles really offer a more attractive lifestyle in comparison to Liverpool. :wink

If the season had started in January, I believe we would be sat in second place. :)

They have done really well jj but a full season is a long time, ask Aston Villa. I think last season from January Liverpool did the same as Everton didnt they? David Moyes is a class act, no doubt about it though. He would be up there for manager of the season but for your start, I reckon though Alex McLeish has done an even better job with Birmingham this season, just incredible where they are now with their resources.

Manchester City have ascended to fourth, but four of their last games six games are against sides in the top seven while Tottenham face the top three in successive games. Could pave the way for Liverpool to steal into the last Champions League spot towards the end and you wouldn't put it past them.
