Fascinating! Especially as the 10l's 4th to Afsare won yesterday too.
Only you can get 7/4 & 2/s on Betfair now, would seem on the drift as money comes for the Balding horse...
Bizarre staking - does that mean you're confident or quitting if it loses?
It's the end of the road for me
I would like to thank those of you have shown interest in this thread.
Everything was going so well for a while then it all went pearshaped. I finished with a respectable strike rate of 37% despite losing the FANTASY (remember that) £1,000.
BANK - £1,000
SR 11/30 (37%)
bye for now

I have had some success on my site today with a 9/1 relay and one from Pricewise at 13/2, i have subscribed to many of these paid for services and am finding that not very many are giving value for money, hence what i am doing for all
It ALWAYS does seem to go pearshaped doesnt it ?
Can I take this over? Like the title & shame to lose a thread?
But while I'm supposed to be concentrating on h'caps I often see things worth a go in maiden races & while I do like H Cecil first time out I think his runner in the first at Nottingham is a little short & would have to be something pretty special to turn over:
Notts 2.05
Catalinas Diamond 6/4 Win but we'll count at SP
Start again with a £1000 - £50 Win or £25 EW
Of course you can take over the thread with my Blessings Young GRASSHOPPER
Good luck with it & I'll be watching with interest

Think what I'll do here - if this one loses & the bank goes down to £900 is then reduce the stakes to £30 Win or £15 EW but for now....
£25 EW Hills go 20/s 365 12/s
7.20 Ling
Tullius
Bit of a disappointment that one - ended up 33/s & nearer last than first. Let's hope this Barq in the 4.45 @ Yarmouth can do better - £30 Win
H'mm, got the favourite bt & then get bt ourselves, lost by a head or smth, anyway...
2.00 Ling
Reckon the favourite is opposable & hope
So Choosy, can do it, £30 Win
If that by some miracle should win, I'll go £15 EW on Drummer Boy in the next but only if! A bit speculative & one of the stable's runners let me down t'other day, so only if So Choosy wins, tavm
So, down to £840
What we'll do I think is put £20 ew
Red Lite 6.10 Windsor
If that loses then we'll go £20 W & £10 ew
May as well take it down to £800 - I can see another whose stats compared to price look a bit of value so we'll go another £15 ew
Fear Factor(Ire)
7.40 Windsor
Down to £800, dreadful stuff - so we'll go £20 Win £10 ew for a bit & we'll start off with EW
Bouggatti
1.45 NewmJ
I gone bog 50/s but certainly wont mind if it drifts a bit!
2.00 NewmR
One fair maiden alright - I won't mind if the favourite wins - I have already backed the horse that beat him last time Picture Editor for the Derby but I think he's not worth his odds - a few newcomers to consider too, least of all Lordofthehouse, described as 'hard as nails & will be well worth waiting for' by his trainer but one I like who should be plugging on come the end
Knightly Escapade EW
Going to start again 1000 on this - have stumbled on a no figures based system worth trying to see if still profitable - due a loser after two straight winners but would like to keep a record of qualifiers somewhere - here'll do:
3.10 Warw - Kyllaise 30 W
PS: GS can now be followed on Twitter as @themastarata
970 as a loser yesterday & looks another today opposing this Signifier thing but a qualifier none the less:
2.30 Bath That's Dangerous 30 W
PS: GS can now be followed on Twitter as @themastarata
4.00 Asc
North Star Boy 20 W
is a qualifier but short price, I'm having a saver on my top rated:
Liebesziel 10 W
PS: GS can now be followed on Twitter as @themastarata
944 after that North Star Boy won -
5.50 Ham Devlin 30 W
PS: GS can now be followed on Twitter as @themastarata
914 after that:
6.40 Leic Shere Khan 30 W
PS: GS can now be followed on Twitter as @themastarata
