If I was Turkey I'd now send the Navy to get the vessels back as they've been hijacked (basically pirated) by the Israeli's

...and what will the US & EU do about it? Tell Israel they have been naughty and not to do it again :splapme

'King Hell! Bit short notice for me & again, why do these things always happen on Bank Holidays?

    EMERGENCY DEMONSTRATION
    MONDAY 31 MAY 2.00PM
    DOWNING STREET

It's now been confirmed that Israel has murdered 3 unarmed civilians during an attack on the international Gaza aid flotilla, with new reports saying that 10 people may have been killed. Dozens of people have been injured.

The Gaza Freedom Flotilla is 90 miles from the Gaza shores; sailing in international waters where Israel has no jurisdiction.

Once again Israel is breaking international law and committing piracy and murder. It has long threatened this peaceful Flotilla, and is now determined to stop it from reaching its destination.

Approximately 700 civilians are on board the seven ships, of whom 28 are British citizens.

An emergency demonstration has been called for Monday 31 May, 2.00pm, at Downing Street, London SW1 (nearest tube: Westminster), demanding that the British government protest against Israel's violation of international law.

Tony Benn said that last time - IMHO Turkey should have anticipated this & sent some protection....

Be interesting to see how our new regime play it out but you're probably right, slapped wrist

Israeli's now trying to make out the others started it!! So invading another countries ships in International waters with commando's armed to the teeth isn't starting something??? Hmmm

It was a private run so no need for the Turkish military to get involved, but it sure as hell they should now. Be nice to see a 'Dunkirk' style flottila next.... 1000's of small boats taking in supplies
