Portugal and Brazil about to kick off. Could be goals in this one with Brazil already through and Portugal more or less assured of their spot in the 2nd round. 6/4 for over 2.5 goals looks generous to me. Will probably finish 0-0 now!

Dies Solis wins at my cutoff (11.0) on my two biggest lay banks. It's now virtually impossible to profit on the day and that one race has all but wiped out yesterday's recovery

I looked at the odds 10 mins before the race and Dies Solis was a couple of points above my cutoff. I would normally void in this situation but went back in 5 mins later after it had shortended and layed at 9.6. Lesson learned. :splapme

It was 11.5/12.0 when I checked and in such cases I normally put an order in at 11.0, which is what I did today and really paid the price for it. It was 10.9 Betfair SP though so by rights I should have been on anyway. Oh well!

I've really got to pay more attention to what I'm doing. Abbondanza wins the 3.10 was a double qualifier for me. Unfortunately I didn't realise it was a double until after the race so missed out on a winner on my biggest bank. That would have more than trebled my profit on the race.

Edit: probably wasn't clear from that but I did get one of the bets matched.

With Public Esteem going in on the NHPMs I am heading for another top ten day. NHPM is one of my biggest banks and I lay to fixed liability on that one so a winner at any price is expensive. That on top of the earlier winner has really done for me today.

Ooops ... just found a bug in my bot code.... cost me £64 :splapme and nearly blew up Excel with beeps :D .... luckily that bit seldom kicks in which is why it managed to hide away.

I may lay Honduras ... haven't decided yet.

Back Spain at 1.57 to beat Chile and lay them to qualify at 1.36. However, if Honduras get something out of the Swiss game then it could all go pear shaped!
