    Alex Higgins has died......

    Sad news. The guy was a legend. A genius at the table, albeit a flawed one. I was too young to appreciate him in his prime but there's no doubting the part he played in the sport's popularity in the 80's.

    Yep, just heard the news myself.. very sad.. he was the most exciting player I ever saw.. and thoroughly deserves to be called a legend.
