A Statement of the Bleedin' Obvious

It's nearly the middle of October ffs!!!
    I think it's called AUTUMN.
Do these smug forecasters think they've finally got it right by telling us something we don't already know (or expect).......considering the total balls-up they made of the summer forecast (again) !!!

(At least they 'should' get this one right, giving that October 9 times out of 10 tends to get cooler as Autumn and Winter draw in!!)

"Tomorrow will be a little bit cooler - at around 18C or 19C (64F or 66F).

"It's going to be a slow cool-down through this week although it will become quite a bit cooler during the nights with temperatures closer to 0C - the first signs of winter.

"Daytime temperatures in Scotland by Wednesday will be down to 12C (54F) while in England temperatures will go down to 14C (57F)."

Is it the drop in temperature that made a sheep outside my window cough all night

If you know how to read satellites you can do your own forecasting http://en.allmetsat.com/images/europe.php .... If you look at http://en.allmetsat.com/images/sat24_uk_vis.php ... you can clearly see a front moving in from the NE which means cooler air.

...and the weathers usually cold and in Scotland
