    4th March

Plenty going on for me today.

I'm looking forward to MOOSE MORAN 2:20 NWB, who improved dramatically on his 2nd run and is still a possible runner in the Triumph Hurdle. I wouldn't expect him to win that, but he should be more than good enough to take this.

Good job I'm busy, it'll take my mind off the Liverpool game coming up

Somehow, I knew you were going to put that up & you're right, he did improve (8lb on my figs & I wouldn't call that 'dramatic') last time & in hindsight, I'm glad you did as I hadn't 'mastered' his revised mark but

that still leaves him short of Omaruru who also improved last time by twice as much - could be the one for the FC's ?

Dunno if it still holds true but it used to be that the majority of Henderson winners would usually have ran 27 days plus - you had a quick reappearance loser of his the other day?

Tee hee - I tipped it EW to Alex Gorrie in reply to his latest spam tip:

Oh! But stick Handy Andy in your notebooks, he beat my top rated in the next & ran a comparable time to Omaruru, oh & that means Whitby Jack, who beat him last time is under-rated too by those amateurs at the Racing Post

What the hell happened in the 5:45? I missed it.... seems as though the jockeys stopped for a tea break in the race then continued

Remember when the form book used to say, 'fell, broke leg, destroyed?'

Poor old Sheila's Bond, she broke her near hind 4 out & fatally injured -

causing nearly all the runners to virtually pull up & hence the time 18 above stand, pretty slow....

    Meat wagon ..... French cuisine

I suppose as usual it was the idiots in control of the direction they should go, and the flagman, but even when that is the case they blame the jockeys
