In 1999 the number of managers and senior managers in the NHS was 24,290. By 2009 the number had increased to 44,660. This was Blair's idea of improving the NHS.

Health Secretary Andrew Lansley:- Yet again funds that are urgently needed for the frontline are being swallowed up by Labour's bereaucratic black hole!

Blair also promised 10,000 more doctors and 20,000 more nurses. Where were they supposed to come from? Philipines? Lithuania? Bulgaria? Maybe we could have got them if he'd cut the number of managers and trained more nurses.

The only true words I heard that idiot speak were....HISTORY WILL BE MY JUDGE!!!
