I was planning to go the Philippines in May, and could have booked 2 months ago for £450. For various reasons I decided I couldn't go. I'm now looking at July and the price with the same airline, KLM, is £804 .... If I left it till the school holidays it's £1100
If prices go up during the school holidays due to demand as they say, who the takes the kids on holiday to Manila? .... Especially as only around 5000 brits entered the Phil last year. Demand price rises my
I then thought I'd do a comparison. Las Vegas to Manila is about the same distance as MAN>MNL, so I checked the price.... it works out about £800 ..... we're supposed to have higher landing fees and taxes in this country so how come it's the same flying from the US? Price fixing?
