Now you have to admit, the Real 'goal' being disallowed was dodgy...very, very dodgy?

I couldn't see any reason to disallow that one and I've watched the replays a few times, in fact a similar weak foul took place on a Real player first. Yet another official ruins a game.

I dont believe in all of Jose's nonsense but it did seem to me that Barcelona were gettting the 50/50 decisions last night, maybe as they were at home I don't know? There was nothing that Ronaldo could do to stop himself falling into Mascherano, btw what an actor he has suddenly turned into in Spain. Compared to his countryman Messi, an absolute disgrace. There are a few players in the Barca team that are cheats, Alves is one of the biggest..they let themselves down and they think the world can't see what they are up to. There is an aura about this team at the moment and I think the officials are giving them the benefit of the doubt, or have done in this tie it seems.

If things aren't going Barca's way, they keep falling over ..... and yet the people against video replays say it is because they don't want to see the games stop/starting .... it does anyway

One of the Talk Sport presenters, the muppet on at 6pm, was saying they can't have goal line technology as it will stop the game too long!!! EH!!! The technology will know where the ball is before the human eye has even registered it!

I was reading about this technology today and in the tests they did recently, one goal was given when the ball had flown over the bar. Get that in at Anfield then! I think Hawk-eye company are confident that they can have a 100% system, they didnt go in the tests then apparently. FIFA have some criteria for getting through a first phase, then onto a second stage where they have to be 100% correct...be interesting to see if anybody can do it.

The major technologies didn't take part in those trials.... probably some crap by FIFA prevented them so they could only trial the crap ones and tell us slaves of football how primitive the systems are.

They can never be 100% correct these systems, but as with cricket, tennis, etc, we know the error rate in advance, and it is much less than human error therefore acceptable.

I would imagine Hawkeye would prove the best. If they can track a cricket ball to within a few cms travelling at 100mph, a tennis ball at 140mph, then a football has to be much easier

Turned into? You see it now the rose coloured glasses are off

As to the goal line technology it'll probably be with whoever FIFA are in bed with, like adidas or something, rather than the best company for the job.
