I will, hopefully, have something to post here shortly - been a strange time of late - my Gran died same day as that Norwegian shooting (more conspiracy theory) and her funeral came either side of G Goodwood, brought me to a grinding halt temporarily on the horses, catching up rapid, got one day left to do & I'll have a little list for you.

Trouble with Goodwood is that it's a specialist track - though have heard that form from this meet is pretty reliable & can usually pay to follow placed horses from Stewards Cup (Hoof It, this year) - another book I'v got suggests that the Most Significant Form for Epsom, is a 1,2,3,or 4th from Goodwood, their aren't many similar, though I saw a winner yesterday who had previously won at Thirsk & Ffos Las, anyway -
Noted here are the odd Nick Mordin System qualifier, all the Racing Posts Improvers (I think that means they have improved their Racing Post Rating on both of their last two runs - have noted that these can do well when only one in a race but you would have to get a Weekender to find them), fast & fair timers....

Drifting slightly but just noticed that one of the above, Red Gulch, got turned over @ K-aw last night but this looks the race to concentrate on from the meet - could turn out a fair bunch of h'cappers if not better:- clocked a better time & were 27l's clear of the other 5 runners.

Thanks but it's like not we weren't expecting it - she went into rapid decline after losing her son (to cancer) and dog within the same week about 18 months ago - she gradually lost her marbles and when remotely conscious, the will to live. The worst part was gutting her house of 40 years last Xmas when she went into full-time care - that was pretty wrenching for my brother and I, it slowly dawns on you that a family era is over.
I was kind of hoping but pretty much knew she wasn't going to make it, that she would reach her 90th birthday, 21-12-2012, as that the Mayan calender end-of-time date, google those numbers, plenty of further reading there

3 winners from about 6 qualifiers on that little method/system including an 11/1 shot yesterday - suggests the basis for keeping a record which I'll start next week somewhere.
