    ZERO degrees here and it's only 6:30pm .... I hope the racing is still on tomorrow ... but probably need a few chicken feet, chants and voodoo

    It was a bit parkier up north today than it's been but I just hope that ice stays away. Trying to walk on slippery pavements is as appealing as Jo Brand in a negligee.

    If the cold spell continues though I can see me having to put the heating on. There's only so many jumpers and jackets you can wear and I think my neighbour's getting fed up with my dropping in for a warming mug of tea.
