    Tablets

I was thinking of buying a tablet, probably one using the Android OS, but on looking at reviews, apps to allow editing of Open Office spreadsheets seem to be thin on the ground, if they exist at all at present.

Multimedia applications aside, I'd be using the tablet for punting-related stuff like placing bets (although that's mostly done via mobile) and, much more frequently, updating results on spreadsheets.

Anyone know if any Open Office apps have appeared for tablets such as the Motorola Xoom or Samsung Galaxy?

Cheers for that. I was initially thinking of getting a netbook as a portable option to my desktop, but thought a tablet may be a more suitable alternative.

Doing a lot of keyboard work in the 9-5 job, I'd prefer not to be using another (conventional) keyboard in the evenings - apart from anything else your fingers start to ache.

Which reminds me, I'll need to get a softer touch keyboard for when I am using the desktop...
