I dunno, I got Punchestown & Perth to do & then some 81 rated nag at Towcester goes & clocks a whopping girt 190, eh?

I have concluded that the race distance must have been some way shorter than advertised, either that or my & the Racing Post's standards must be total cock-a-hoop.

Race was run at a fair pace & if I rate him around the 2nd & 3rd I reckon 117p at best at this stage.

Anyway, a fair chase debut, well backed too, thought I'd make a note till it makes more sense, something which the RP's figs for the meet wont, if this run is taken literally.

You're welcome but as I was saying, if they take this run literally, the Racing Post's figs for the meet will be skewed (& this is the really annoying thing about it, one little fluff & it affects the whole meet?), well they did & what a pile of junk.

Usually, when a horse wins a race where such comments as 'good pace, decent pace, strong pace,' etc are used, on average you can rate the winner around a stone better than their official mark.

Upthemsteps' race was run at a fair pace & he got a 125 from me but:
