    PCC's: FAIL

Did anyone vote for a PCC?

I didn't, no idea who the hell was running. I haven't met anyone yet who did vote.

Is it legal that the first winner had 7% of 15% of the vote? I would say that's not a vote of confidence.

I thought the idea for a PCC was to have someone independent and yet in most places it seems to have been political parties fighting it out. This vote turned into the way the US do it, everything is political.

This is the only topic that interrupted the dead body pics from Gaza on my FB profile:

What a spectacular failure the Tory elected police experiment has been. The first result is in. Angus MacPherson won in Wiltshire on an 18.5% turnout. He secured 35,319 votes, giving him a mandate from just 6.79% of Wiltshire's eligible voters.

That means that 93.21% of the eligible voters in Wiltshire have no right to complain if they don't like what is happening!!!
