I have an impressive bank of knowledge and experience. Unfortunately, I've lost the combination to this bank.

I've had this problem for months now.
Pages sometimes take an age to load. They sit for an 'eternity' in 'refresh' mode.
When the forum is at its worst the only way I can upload the JE attachment is to close the forum down and start again in a new browser 'tab'.

finally got it to work (see piggys new year project) did have to close dopwn and start again but at least its worked now

It's a problem with the way the coding works, not the forum speed, as it happens to me now and again. vB now use a lot of different languages in coding the forum it does seem to suffer cross platform issues.
Sometimes my page will hang when I click a smilie, good job we now have the auto-save.
I'll check if any upgrades are available.
