    bt scam email

beware there is a brilliant scam email about allegedly from BT saying your last payment failed and could you please resubmit your details, the log in page looks perfect and if you click on the other bt service links it takes you to the real page, i immediatly became suspicious because they were asking for credit card details including dates and security codes and we pay by direct debit anyway, this is the best ive ever seen so beware.

I have an impressive bank of knowledge and experience. Unfortunately, I've lost the combination to this bank.

Yeah, I can see how people may get caught out by this one.
The scammers have obviously put a great deal of effort into making this as authentic as possible.
I took a look at it myself and luckily wasn't duped mainly because I used to work for BT and am 'lucky' to have an ex-employee account with them which doesn't or never would ask me for payment like that dodgy page does.
They (BT) still include my old employee number on all my online payment requests and statements.

I keep getting similar about companies house, and they must fool some people, otherwise they wouldn't keep sending them.
