Thumbs up The 143rd Open Championship

    Hi All,

Almost time for the the 143rd Open Championship at the Royal Liverpool GC, Hoylake, starts on the 17th July.

Two players to consider on current form have to be:

    Henrik Stenson @ 16/1

2nd(T) in the recent BMW International and 4th(T) in the U.S Open plus a 5th and 7th(T) in his two prior tournaments, it has been a good six weeks for Heinrik. Hopefully he can carry that form on to Liverpool.

    Martin Kaymer @ 16/1

Missed the cut in the BMW, but that came on the back of winning the U.S Open by 8 shots. Also won the Players Championship back in May with a 13 under return. So deffo one for the hot list.

    Longshot:

    Brendon Todd @ 100/1

A PGA tour winner back in May and three top ten finishes since.

All in all it looks like a good tournament in the making and no clear cut front runners.

    What are your thoughts?

    Gordon

my only addition to that list would be justin rose who looks to be running into form at the right time, tied 12th at the us open and then won the QuickLoans Nat at the end of june so 20/1 seems a fair price.

I have an impressive bank of knowledge and experience. Unfortunately, I've lost the combination to this bank.
