Analysed the results between Tuesday and 2day so far five winners from 6, so heres the rules:
1 Must be Racing post Forecast Fave
2 Must be in Non Handicap
3 Must have won at least once in last 4 runs
4 Must be a distance winner
5 Must have run at least once this season
6 Must have been in first 3 in one of last two runs. (Added rule)
Change to rule 6: Must have been in first 3 its last two runs
7 Must have been placed at the track at least once if running at Southwell or Wolverhampton (Added rule)

these changes should see the strike rate up to hopefully near 50% for the year.

Just a respectful suggestion for your new years resolution--keep all your selections on one thread and you'll have a better record of your success

Jumps or Flat Kered??

I've just run your rules through RSB NH as close as I can get them, and usually I'd only do it for members but since your trying (very :))you can have this system check for free.

Over the last 10y 45% SR, with a 80pt LOSS

However, adding the rule;
Must be SOFT or GOOD-SOFT ONLY, results in;
46%SR and a 10y PROFIT of 66pts
However the following years did show a loss;
93 - 28pts
95 - 0.5pts
01 - 36pts

was going to do it for both flat and jumps. thanks for doing the research, noticed on flatstats website that August-December favourites have a lower strike rate generally than for January-July this could be similar for the jumps hopefully. So the system might be worth doing for the first half of the year and not the 2nd half.
