Hello All,

Here is a plan which is almost 10 years old, written and devised by Ian Bruce and does work.

When it was first produced he sold it for £100 per copy - It sold because it works.

So here it is

1) Delete all handicap races

2) Make a note of the first 6 non-handicap races on the day in time sequence.
If less than 6 non-handicap races on a particular day, there is no bet.

3) Take each race in turn and give points to runners according to the following:
for a horses last 2 outings (in the current season) 10 point for each win, 6 for each 2nd place, 4 for each 3rd place and 2 for each 4th place.
This means that the highest number of points that can be awarded is 20.

4) After finding your horses (one in each of the 6 races), you are ready to place your wager.
Use a graduated staking plan as follows

Race 1 - 1 point to win
Race 2 - 1 point to win
Race 3 - 2 points to win
Race 4 - 2 points to win
Race 5 - 3 points to win
Race 6 - 6 points to win

STOP at a winner

Maximum stake = 15 points

On average this plan will give you a 90% strike rate.

The graduated staking plan gives similar results to 'double up' type systems but with only a small % of the risk.

Obviously you need a betting bank and I suggest one of 100 points. A point can be any amount that suits your pocket

Try it out on paper for a couple of weeks.
