Peter Kay and Dave Spikey

Ok so most of you are familiar with the delights of Phoenix Nights, and more than likely many of you have seen Live at the Top of the Tower and also Live at Bolton Albert Hall. So for all you Peter Kay fans, tonight 'Peter kay live at the Comedy Store' is on Paramount 2 at 10pm.

Although it's only on for a paltry 30 mins....it's sure to give many many laughs, and if you have the channel I advise you watch it.

On aftewards is Phil Jupitus live at the Comedy Store.....not quite as funny, but then as a bonus at 11pm, Dave Spikey Live is being shown...you know Gerry from Phoenix Nights ?? Come and get your Black Bin Bags....yeah of course you do....well it's him for those that don't know his real name!! Sure to be many more laughs, and he's on for over an hour.

NTL channel 936, not sure about Sky.....but a great couple of hours of comedy.

Dave Spikey. If its a repeat of what has already been shown on sky I urge you all to watch. This guy is hilarious, even funnier that Peter Kay IMHO.

Just watching Pheonix nights now. The sign of a good show is when it gets funnier each time you watch it. That show falls into that catergory. Lots of quality lines that on their own dont sound funny but put together in the genius of character of Kay produces are priceless.

an example of this is when gerry asks Potter if he is on medication when he says he is going to reopen the pheonix club. Potter replies "yes two spoonfuls of ambition taken three times a day"

Found this site whilst doing a Google search for Dave Spikey - theres some new gigs listed here (http://www.davespikey.net/boards/forumdisplay.php?forumid=27) plus some video downloads on the main site. Will be going to see him in November at Blackpool and it should be top!
