hi i'm having a ball building a website
only a bit of fun but if any of you have ever wanted to have one and didn't know where to go to do it (like me) try this its my site and the link for building one is somewhere on the home page
i've got some great charectors on it including slippery silax (the dodgy horse racing expert) hank ******man (the us sport specialist) and scotty mctavash (the stingy soccer pundit)
i think i posted the link somewhere on here when i was well drunk
but if you want a giggle have a look i'm pretty sure keith won't mind the link as its not exactly a serious tipping site. hopefully will give some people a bit of a laugh i'm still in the early stages but adding all the time

Not too sure about the last bit Silax - Copyright Laws may mean that Keith has to send the boys round to remove any soft dangly objects you may have. Maybe you could ask him nicely first.

Just one point to be aware of Silax, at the bottom of the forum pages is this little piece of small print...

(c) All information contained in this forum is the property of Win2Win Racing Club

I'd check with Keith first mate!

Very nice website have you thought about maybe advertising it and getting a domain name.

If you dont want to spen much on it you can get a .co.uk domain name for £3 a year on this website I know about. Also I would be happy to help you in any way I can.

Hi Silax

Your a good person, but you really should ask permission to post a link. Mods hate having to make this sort of call. This site is here to help one another. However Spammers also use the same line.

As an Old friend to W2W I think we will let this one pass

BUT don't anybody else post their Website as well,
OR YOU WILL BE BANNED.

my website is only a bit of fun marcus and just playing about with it.
you're right there are a lot of spammers about but thats not really me is it.
i think you're more likely to get a laugh out of it with some of the charectors i invent as i go along but once the novelty wares off i will proberbly get sick

What we fear is is others seeing the posting of Web links as a go ahead to post web links without consideration. I know how your feeling and I know your just having a bit of fun etc - and you have my sympathy - however I also as a mod have to watch out for :censored: spammers or others looking for an excuse to jump up and down, accuse us of nepotism, etc, etc you have seen it all before.

Wishing you luck with your site :D

I've recently sent a legal action warning to another site publishing Win2Win information, so you can guess the answer to one of your questions.

As has been repeated in the past, it has to be one rule for all, even though your part of the furniture, otherwise myself & the excellent Mods we have on here get an earfull from the minority.

If your email address is on your profile, and people contact you directly to help you, that is no problem, but a lot of people post on here in the understanding that the information is for here only, and that is why I protect it, as well as any private information. I never pass information on myself to anyone.

Maybe you could consider setting up something as fun like Mark & Vegy have done with their Sims. How about pimp one? :) OK, greyhounds then!!

...and by the way, we DO mind the link. It has only been left on becasue I've been out all day, and nearly everyone has viewed it, so removing it now wouldn't serve a purpose.

If I did not know better silax I'd say it looked fairly serious as a website. The irony is not that clear.

Took longer to load up on my computer than I expected so there must be some heavy(meaning lots of) Html code making up the page(s)

haven't got a clue marcus but is very simple make a website using the freeweb whatsitthingy as you can see even i can do it and this thread was started to recomend that more then anything else and this site is the only way anyone is gonna view it i would think. in case you hadn't guessed marcus all the tipsters are me in various disguses apart from willy (the wand) wizard that was merlins tip

You have done well - and should be correctly pleased with yourself :D

silax
12th September 2004, 22:12
thanks marcus but the software within the site is so easy to use litterally anybody could do this. it was something i've been wanting to do for a long time but didn't know how the only reason i decided to do tipping was just so many subjects to go with it and its good practice for building the website.
i think when i get bored with it i'll make a proper one giving advice on how to move to spain emigrating is so easy these days.

silax

actually big c i've gone where there are very few english. looked at the english complexs and to say the least didn't really like what i saw the houses were really nice but to tell the truth it was the english that put me off buying there. me and g/f decided if we were going to do it we would get as far away from english people as possible.

bigcumba
12th September 2004, 22:43
To be honest I'd do exactly the same myself - if you're going to do it you should make an effort to fit in - as we expect immigrants to do here. I imagine you'll find the housing cheaper away from the English parts as well.
