Can someone help me ?

Win double at 2.40 and 1.90, £1 staked. Whats the profit ? Its for my footy thread as i cant get into the website where the bet was placed....

Profit of £3.56 :)

£1 * 2.4 = £2.40 x 1.9 = £4.56, less your £1 stake.

Returns £9.86 - so £8.96 profit.

£1 x 1.40 = £1.40 profit + £1.00 stake = £2.40 return
£2.40 x 0.90 = £2.16 Profit + £2.40 stake = £4.56 Return.

Return = £4.56, Profit = £3.56

:) I just changed it coz i knocked off the £1 stake twice. It has been so long since i placed a double myself!

EEK - no it doesn't - Worky's right - I forgot to take into account you were using decimal odds
