View Full Version : New Payment System - aMember

The new payment system has been launched whereby you can now use Paypal instead of BT. You DO NOT need a Paypal account they allow direct payment.

The 30 days is the same price and time length for both of them.

The only difference is that the the BT 24hr last for 24hrs from when you subscribe. Whereas the subscription for the aMember system expires at midnight the day after you join, so if you signup at AM today, it will finish at midnight tomorrow, therefore giving you 2 days of information, hence the £2.50 charge, but it works out at 50p cheaper than 2 days on BT.

It all worked in testing, but as usual their may be 1 or 2 hiccups now it is live, but it should be OK.

Do we have a choice Keith or will it go exclusively Paypal in the future?

You'll have the choice, it's just that some people won't use BT, and it does have the odd problem. The new system has no caching issues.

No probs, I've always found BT fine for me.

Hi Keith, on a seperate issue, the members page isnt not working for me currently, getting the following message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /sec/test1.html on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Obviously, we got a couple of hours yet but I'd like to know if the issue is at my end or yours.

Cheers :)

I can log in okay to members page, but get same error message as WorkShy when I try to refresh page.

Then have to go back and log in again

My shortcut to the members area (was set to the actual page ie past the BT C&B login) brings the same error up as Workshy is getting.

BT C&B says I have no current content and when I click on their link to you I get the W2W 404 page saying the page does not exist and click this link to return to the main site.

The BT 30 day links from the main site brings up the BT C&B login page, I login, click next and I get the members page up OK.
