AAAAA! :yikes: This is so annoying. my cd drive is messed up. (the one that came with the computer, i did not install it) everytime i turn on my pc, the tray opens half way, then it wont close. if i put a cd in it and (eventually) get it to close, the cd wont play, in fact it is if there is no cd in it at all!!! it has a mind of its own. i dont know if its infected or not. i tried to run a virus scan on the d drive but nothing came up. any solutions???????? i cant play any cds

Jumping the gun a little in my opinion, whats the point in wasting £40, it might be a nice dvd writer but theres little point in spending money where it's not necessary. I'd personally try and find the solution here first (http://www.::swear::swear::swear::swearinggoogleit.com/)

edit: link won't work as it contains a swear word. Stupid ::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear filter.
